The interior refurbishment of in Kauppakeskus Like Tampere was completed in spring 2026. Franz redesigned the shopping centre’s corridors, lobby areas, and public restroom facilities, creating a welcoming and contemporary look for the centre originally completed in 2014. The children’s play area was also relocated and given a completely new appearance.

Warm tones were introduced to walls and feature surfaces, complemented by wood finishes and indirect lighting. Large, high wall surfaces were enhanced with wood-fibre acoustic panels and integrated lighting details, improving both warmth and acoustics. Seating areas in the corridors were upgraded with new furniture, accompanied by preserved greenery to create a more inviting atmosphere. The restroom facilities were renovated to match the updated interior concept, and some areas were reorganized to improve functionality.

The refreshed interior significantly enhanced the shopping centre’s comfort and appeal, creating inviting and more commercial spaces that leave a lasting impression on visitors.
