Franz designed new office spaces for Sony Music Finland in a historical former industrial building located on Eerikinkatu. Originally built in the 1920s and serving as a machine laboratory, the space was transformed into a true hybrid facility, featuring offices, event spaces, recording and photography studios, as well as a sauna area. The significant structural renovations and the change in the purpose of the space, carried out across three floors, presented challenges but also created the opportunity to establish completely new functionality and atmosphere

With clients possessing a bold and imaginative mindset, the color schemes and materials did not settle for conventional, previously seen solutions.The end result is a unique, visually striking, and experiential whole that lives and breathes strongly to the rhythm of music, reinforcing Sony Music’s brand image and values.
