Alma is an experiential restaurant where fine dining meets strong storytelling and a shared culinary experience. Located on Fabianinkatu in Helsinki, the restaurant is centred around an open kitchen. The concept brings together Italian craftsmanship and the bold flavours of Latin America in a modern and unexpected way.

The design was guided by the idea of creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and international. Materials, lighting and the rhythm of the space support the dramaturgy of the dining experience – every detail guides the guest towards a more immersive and present experience. Openness, warmth and carefully considered contrasts are reflected throughout the space.

At the heart of the interior design are shared moments and a seamless dialogue between the kitchen and dining room. The distinctive atmosphere is built through layered materials, lighting and thoughtful details, making Alma more than a restaurant – a complete experience.
