BISOUBISOU

Bisoubisou Brasserie & Bar is located on the 24th floor of the 26-story Horisontti tower, built by SRV, at a height of 100 meters. The restaurant opened in the spring of 2025. The restaurateurs are Teemu Aura and Maiju Åstedt. Franz was responsible for the interior design of the entire restaurant space.

The goal of the design was to create a brasserie & bar that exudes boldness and roughness. The interior of the dining hall is inspired by New York and its dark, rustic elegance. A striking contrast to the interior is provided by the expansive views and the changing light throughout the year, which gives the restaurant a distinctive character. The concept of the restaurant also allowed for the consideration of sustainable development in the furniture and lighting fixtures. Sustainability is strongly reflected in the choice of surface materials, as the entire bathroom floor is made from spare tiles of large ceramic tiles. The Horisontti tower aims to achieve the highest Platinum-level LEED environmental certification.
